Review:
The "Colorado Suite" from composer Kevin McChesney is a set of four original pieces written as a tribute to his beloved home state. Each movement paints an evocative musical picture of life in Colorado, from the highs of the mountaintop and flowing mountain streams to the joy of a mountain dance. When played as a whole work, the suite would be a wonderful addition to any performance. Played separately, each piece is useful in a variety of settings, suitable for use in worship, school, or concert.
