Review:
Based on Gustav Holst’s tune THAXTED, this piece makes an excellent contemplative offering for any patriotic service or concert. The familiar melody is first heard on the optional handchimes, then by the full handbell ensemble, where it rises to a majestic and reverent climax. 66 measures in length, it is scored in C Major.
