Review:
This Cynthia Dobrinski setting is a festive addition to the Christmas repertoire. A big introduction is followed by a rung melody accompanied by malleted staccatos. The transition and softer verse two includes echoes, mallet rolls, martellatos, martellato lifts, and mallet lifts with an abundance of harmonic interest. The third verse is triumphant with big chords and moving parts, martellatos, shakes, and the exciting coda brings it all to an exciting conclusion. Ringers will find this piece to be three minutes of fun in both worship and concert venues. Set in F Major, it is 82 measures.
