Review:
This engaging composition features a jaunty theme and constant energy throughout. Written in 4/4 meter, the use of dotted rhythms contributes to the piece’s bouncy, joyful quality. Handbell techniques abound, but there are very few required bell changes. "A Jubilant Rondo" was commissioned by the Greater Dallas Handbell Association for their 2012 spring festivals. It is scored in C Major and is 88 measures.
