Review:
"The Butterfly Song" is an upbeat, happy song of gratitude. The text of the original song by Brian M. Howard begins, “If I were a butterfly, I’d thank you Lord for giving me wings.” It follows with other stanzas in different styles for different creatures of our world. Though the tune is simple and memorable, the ringing skills require malleting, some chromatics, grace notes, handchimes, gyros and shakes. This bouncy, joyous 58-measure arrangement will be a delightful addition to worship services, concerts and festivals. It is set in C Major.
