Review:
The use of two different historic church modes in this short collection for 2 octaves gives these two original compositions a seldom used musical sonority. Both titles, A Penitential Chant and Gothic Echoes, are suitable for general use by churches or schools; A Penitential Chant is also appropriate for Lent. These Level 2 pieces work well for 7 ringers because the G6 is optional.
