Review:
Taken from an arrangement for piano by Franz Liszt, this French carol becomes a delight for handbells. It has contrasts between chords and scalar patterns, percussive and legato passages, and tempo and key alternations as well. Ringers are busy throughout, but repeating phrases make learning easier. Rhythms are straight-forward and there are minimal accidentals in the keys of b minor and G major.
