Review:
The
Five Favorite Hymn-Anthems were arranged for inspirational ringing of anthems, offertories, and for performance at programs or concerts. However, since they represent moods of both praise and prayer, some of them may also be used to embellish offering of prayer responses, congregational singing, preludes, introits, and other segments of a worship service. Since the anthems are based on familiar hymns, dynamic markings are minimal. Musical expression is left to the interpretation and experience of the director.
