Review:
The main theme of this composition features a clear melody in the middle and lower range under a pattern of very easy eighth notes. When this A-section is repeated, the eighth notes use TD’s. Suitable for bells or chimes, the "Etude for Bells or Chimes" can be adapted for bells and chimes by following the suggestion in the program notes. One quick bell change for G5 could be assigned to G6. As an aid to ringers and directors, the melody and other notes of equal importance are easy to identify because they are printed in red. 40 measures. Key of C Major.
