Review:
This lively Prelude to Holberg Suite by Grieg has been beautifully transcribed for handbells and handchimes by Doug Benton. Perfect use of mallets, plucks, marts and mart-lifts emphasizes the rhythmic variety of this work. A sixteenth-note descending line will be a fun challenge for even the best Bronze level group. This is a perfect addition to any concert repertoire. 72 measures. Key of G Major.
