Review:
Susan has given this carol, dating from the Middle Ages, fresh, new treatment. The melody is featured in the bells much of the time, with the alternate bells doubling the bass line and excellent placement of stopped sounds adding special interest. Handchimes carry the melody mid-way through for a nice change in sound. Adding the optional recorder and percussion makes this a completely delightful arrangement. 120 measures.
