Review:
Inspired by the text, "Prone to wander, Lord I feel it," the opening segment in this setting creates a quieter, more contemplative mood. The momentum eventually builds for the following rousing verse, followed by another more thoughtful verse on chimes. Always anchored by the well-known hymn tune and surrounded by more contemporary harmonies, the listener is filled with a sense of wandering by the end-reminding one of the daily reflection to "Bind my wandering heart to Thee." 81 measures. Key of C Major.
