Review:
Fred Pratt Green’s text, “For the Fruit of All Creation,” begins with traditional Thanksgiving themes but then goes beyond that, gradually incorporating themes of stewardship, interdependence, and ecological responsibility. Russel Schulz-Widmar has set these words to the traditional Welsh melody AR HYD Y NOS, arranged for SAB choir and six handbells. The music begins simply and builds gently as the text unfolds. 60 measures.
