Hymn Embellishments is a reproducible collection of handbell variations on ten hymns written to enhance and encourage hymn singing. Two different settings are provided for each hymn, which may be used together with piano or organ in a variety of creative ways. In addition to using these settings with congregational singing, they may also be used as solo pieces with keyboard accompaniment. The variety of seasonal and general titles included will make the collection useful throughout the church year. Many of the hymntunes are published with a variety of different hymn texts, so be sure to check your hymnal’s tune index to find additional uses for these settings. A list of compatible hymnal settings is provided for each hymn. The collection is published in compatible editions for 2-3 and 3-5 octaves.
