Review:
Written for the dedication of two new sets of handbells, this piece by Deborah Holden-Holloway truly captures the power and blessing of music. The majestic opening section shines forth and is followed by a beautiful Cantabile. The delightful, scherzo-like middle section uses thumb damps and mallets before the opening section returns and the piece builds to a marvelous fortississimo ending as dissonances resolves to consonance. Don’t miss this selection for worship, festival, or concert! 84 measures.
