Review:
This composition will stand-alone with 3 ringers (F5-D6); the notes- needed chart shows various options for additional ringers, depending on the number of octaves available. In 3/4 meter, the rhythms are easy. There are a few bell changes for C5 and C6; the layout requires one page turn plus a repeat sign that does not involve a page turn. The music is scored on 2 treble clef staves, making it easier for the ringers to track their notes. Although the title calls to mind a certain geographic setting, the music should appeal to any groups of ringers. It is suitable for bells or chimes. 32 measures. Key of D Major.
