Review:
At Peace is the only “stand alone” solo of this set. It is the only accompaniment that doesn’t rely on electronics and is pianistic in concept. It works well with the recording or with a live pianist. The primary accompaniment is simple piano with reverb and soft string pad underneath. This beautiful improvisation will quickly become a favorite of the soloists repertoire. In each of these Soundscape solos, improvisation and individuality in ringing expression is encouraged. The supplied recording is offered simply as one possible option. 64 measures.
