"Solo Time 2" is a cheery presentation that will lift up your ringers and audiences. The alternate titles "Venture Forth!" and "Faithful Journey" promise a positive future ahead and allow the piece to be used in either sacred or secular settings. Focusing on 4iH technique in an easy-medium setting, it uses only four notes in the entire melody line (!) with the piano or guitar offering harmonic interest.

This second piece in the Solo Time series is offered in 3 different-keyed scores - covering the 3 most common 4iH ranges: Score "A" using FGAB5 (my personal favorite), Score "B" using CDEF6 and Score "C" using GAB6C7 for ringers who might have bells to play at home. While aimed at 4iH use, "Solo Time 2" is flexible enough to accommodate any octave range (4 bells from 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 octaves) - it can be rung on larger bells as a duet - by a solo ringer using mallets - or on a Bell Tree or Bell Tree stick. Perfect for workshops or beginning 4iH classes, it is carefully scored with mostly step-wise notes for a new-to-4iH ringer. Performance time is 2:30; and without the repeats, closer to 2:00.
