"Evening Light" is a handbell arrangement of the hymn tune ST CLEMENT utilizing 8 bells (G5-G6). It may be rung with two people playing 4-in-Hand or four people in a small ensemble with 2 bells each. This arrangement highlights the lilting give and take of the melody with a quiet peace.
Available in an alternate key for those who prefer to play with more standard handbell assignment positions (spaces in the left hand and lines in the right hand) under the title "Evening Light (in Bb)". Common hymn titles associated with this tune are: "O Light Whose Splendor" and "The Day Thou Gavest, Lord, Is Ended".
