Review:
Cathy Moklebust has arranged William Monk's beloved tune EVENTIDE in a gentle, calming style. It is published in editions for handbell solo and handbell duet/trio with piano accompaniment and optional flute. Although the arrangement begins softly, the final stanza reaches strong, emotional heights before concluding in the same gentle style as the beginning.
SOLO version: This very easy, 3-octave solo may be played on bell tree or rung from the table. Uses 17 bells from D5 through C7.
DUET or TRIO version: This 3-octave duet or trio features no shared bells. Duet uses 17 bells from D5 through C7; trio uses 26 bells from C4 through C7.
The downloadable mp3 accompaniment tracks are compatible with both the solo version and the duet/trio version. The solo version is also included in the collection
