Review:
Cathy Moklebust's joyous arrangement of Melchior Vulpius' tune GELOBT SEI GOTT will be especially appropriate for Easter and Eastertide. It is published for both handbell solo and duet/trio with piano accompaniment. A fanfare opening and closing surround a flowing, gentler stanza which gives the accompanist the main hymn tune.
SOLO version: This easy, 2-octave solo may be played on bell tree or rung from the table by omitting the cue-sized notes. Uses 13 bells from C5 through G6.
DUET or TRIO version: This 3-octave duet or trio features no shared bells. Duet uses 13 (14) bells from C5 through G6 (C7); trio uses 20 (21) bells from C4 through G6 (C7).
All parts are included in the folio. The downloadable mp3 accompaniment tracks are compatible with both the solo version and the duet/trio version. The solo version is also included in the collection
