Review:
Rejoice and celebrate with this upbeat, mixed-meter tune! Written for 3-7 octaves of handbells and optional 3-7 octaves of handchimes, a part is also included to add in an optional cajón, djembe, or hand drum. Though comprised mostly of original melodic material, part of the hymn "Blessed Assurance" makes an appearance later in the piece. Set primarily in 7/8 time (but with instances of 6/8, 3/4, and 4/4 thrown in), it's a great piece for learning to count and feel in multiple beat patterns. This is a great choice for any celebratory worship service or concert throughout the church year! Percussion parts included, but are not reproducible; please purchase an additional copy of the music for your percussionist.
