Review:
Here is an amazingly creative and exciting setting of the Leontovych tune Shchedryk, which will be a fun challenge for your Bronze level group. The repetitive, ostinato four-note pattern is present throughout – but Marquise has added unexpected variations which are sure to excite the audience and keep the musicians focused on the changing rhythmic patterns. At tempo, this could be a Level 5; however, reducing the tempo a few clicks should make it accessible for solid Level 4 groups. This is a "must-have" for your holiday repertoire!
