Review:
Inspired by the annual Vienna Philharmonic's New Year's Concert, Martha Lynn Thompson's arrangement of "Pizzicato Polka" by Josef and Johann Strauss, II, is to be performed entirely by malleting the bells on the table. Use the optional C6 handchime and tambourine for added color. The orchestra traditionally plays the piece with a subtle "bending" of the tempo that can be grasped by listening to or watching a performance of the original piece performed by the Vienna Philharmonic.
