Review:
A fresh take on a favorite iconic piece – perfectly suited for bells, of course!! The well-known themes are playfully inverted, altered and passed around from ringer to ringer, making them even more intriguing and including all ringers in the fun! Level 2+ for full ensemble on 3 or 5 octaves, it always drives forward “Con Brio!” This piece can be a grand finale for a concert or festival. Well-known bell tree soloist and clinician Barbara Brocker says of this piece, “I LOVE it!!!!! It has an energy, a force – I haven’t wanted to play another new piece for a long time – this one energizes me! You have done it!” Key of d minor, 64 measures, 1:30 (with opt. repeat 2:40) performance time. The audio clip for RE8330 is from a classroom rehearsal, so you’ll hear Kath coaching her ringers 😊. Part of the True Music and Class ring Series from ringTrue. A compatible score, RE5617R, for Bell Tree Solo and piano is also available.
