Review:
Many will immediately recognize this gold-record, easy-listening pop tune written in 1965, featuring a memorable melody and jaunty accompaniment. Paul has nicely arranged this for bell groups, featuring the catchy melody in handchimes, then in the treble and bass bells, all accompanied by stopped techniques of mallets and TD or RT. One section features all bells using gently stopped techniques with the bass carrying the melody! Several four-measure passages of LVs mix up the feel. Bass ringers will find this especially fun since the foundational bass line features bells malleted on the table and then other sections where they are Rung. This will be a hit with your audiences and is sure to be a fun choice for ringers as well.
