The hymn tune ASSAM was originally a folk song from India. Christian words were added to the melody to make the beloved hymn we know today. Dennis Robert's Level 1+ arrangement works equally well on chimes or bells and makes a great choice for beginning groups or veteran groups that need a hymn to play on short notice.
