Review:
This beautifully arranged setting incorporates two well-known hymn tunes, NICAEA and EVENTIDE. The piece is particularly splendid when the optional handchimes are used in bringing out these tunes. The music is lyrical and flows with charm and grace. It is most effective when care and attention are paid to the dynamics, which mold and fashion the well-constructed phrases. Inspiration for this piece comes from Psalm 113: "From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the Lord’s name is to be praised." KJV
