Review:
The first verse of this beautiful carol, made famous by an arrangement created by Percy Aldridge Grainger and transcribed here by Mitchell Eithun, reads: "A glorious angel from Heaven came; Unto a virtuous maid; Strange tidings and great news of joy; The humble Mary had; The humble Mary had." Lovely on either handbells or handchimes, choirs of all levels will enjoy playing this moving expression of the season.
