Review:
Commissioned for the 2020 Handbell Musicians of America National Seminar in Orlando, Florida, "Plant a Garden" is a flexible setting scored for SSA with handbells and optional percussion. The SSA part includes a piano score for rehearsal. The Level 4 handbell part is 4-7 octaves with optional chimes and includes a variety of meter, key and stylistic changes. With text and music by Sandra and Mitchell Eithun, this first release by AGEHR in its new Commission and Contest Winners Series is a great way to combine bells and choirs for a brilliant performance.
Please note that the handbell part cannot stand alone.
