This gentle setting features bells, handchimes, and flute all sharing the melody, and the interplay among those voicings is lovely. LVs and dynamics make this expressive title even more poignant. The alternate title - "The Beloved's Promise" - relates to Psalms 74: 19-20, NLT: 'Don't let these wild beasts destroy your turtledoves .... Remember your covenant promises....' and to John 14:3, making it a lovely piece for worship.
