Review:
The wonderful early American folk tune PROMISED LAND has been used with a wide variety of hymn texts, including "On Jordan's Stormy Bank" and "Bound for the Promised Land". Catholic hymnals use the hymn text written by a parish priest named Willard F. Jabusch called "She Will Show Us the Promised One", making it especially appropriate for the Advent season. This Level 2+ setting can be learned quickly and includes a variety of techniques that provide variety and interest for both ringers and congregations.
