Review:
Ave Maria (Mode I) is a beloved chant in Catholic liturgies. The text comes directly from the Scriptures: "Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb." Kurt Meyer has arranged this favorite chant in a flowing and meditative setting, with the Lydian parts of the melody making for some exceptionally beautiful chordal moments.
