Review:
This classical favorite from Tchaikovsly's ballet The Nutcracker has been nicely adapted for handbell quartet. It features many malleted sections which must be executed gracefully with great expression and dynamics. The 'B' section is Rung and flows with many expressions from pianissimo to fortissimo; precise, clean damping will make this section sparkle. A 32nd note LV section is true to the original and leads back to the main, malleted theme. Any moderately advanced quartet will love adding this title to their repertoire!
