Review:
"Lamentation of Calvary" is an original composition in which the tonal qualities deemphasize the interval of the third in favor of fourths and fifths, promoting a passionate expression of loss and sorrow. After building to a bold and agitated climax, the music ends calmly in a whisper of hope. This is a compelling work for Lent.
