Review:
Inspired by Hebrews 12:1-2, this original composition was commissioned in memory of a beloved handbell director. Marked "With Joyful Perseverance" the music reflects passion and commitment to service through good and bad times - always keeping sights set on the joy ahead. Contrasting sections of march-like textures and hymn-like passages played with chimes give depth and meaning, while an optional trumpet adds its triumphant timbre to the overall feeling of victory and triumph. Trumpet part included.
