Review:
Welcome to another in the series entitled With Just A Few ... featuring this Bach favorite arranged by Martha Lynn Thompson for solo C instrument on the melody and two octaves of bells scored in the treble clef playing the accompaniment. The bell part is Rung/LV throughout and a solo instrument is essential (the handbell part cannot stand alone). Includes handbell, oboe/C-instrument, and handchime scores.
Assignments are suggested for 7 ringers, but can be easily adjusted for fewer or more ringers, depending on their skill. This is perfect for smaller groups or sub-groups of your full handbell choir. For a more mellow sound, the bell part may be rung an octave lower: D4 – C6. This title is reproducible only for your ringers but not for distribution or sharing with others.
