Review:
This lovely setting of a favorite Irish folk tune will stand alone but is beautifully enhanced by the optional addition of a cello and two flutes. It is filled with dynamics and expressive LV phrasings that flow gently throughout. The addition of a few echoes, tower swings, and even a gentle mart-lift add lovely texture to the overall sound. Malcolm has created a gorgeous setting which is sure evoke memories of the lush, green landscapes of Ireland and is sure to become a staple in your group’s handbell repertoire.
