Review:
This lovely setting of a favorite Irish folk tune will stand alone but is beautifully enhanced by the optional addition of ‘cello and two flutes. It is filled with dynamics and expressive LV phrasings which flow gently throughout. Addition of a few echoes, tower swings, and even a gentle mart-lift add lovely texture to the overall sound. Malcolm has created a gorgeous setting which is sure evoke memories of the lush, green landscapes of Ireland and is sure to become a staple in your group’s handbell repertoire.
