Review:
This uplifting handbell composition based on the tune IN BABILONE by John A. Behnke features a joyful, memorable theme incorporating light martellatos that draw the listener in. A dreamlike, reflective middle section optionally uses handchimes before returning to the lively, spirited theme. This tune is versatile, also being used with several other hymn texts, including “Son of God, Eternal Savior” and “There’s a Wideness in God’s Mercy.” A 2–3 octave version is also available.
