Review:
Perform this exciting arrangement with bells alone or add optional organ, brass (Trumpet I and II, Horn, Trombone I and II, tuba, percussion and Timpani). After a 16 measure introduction, the handbells usher in the melody alone; and the other instruments chime in accompaniment shortly thereafter. In the second statement of the melody, the organ gets a solo line and the bells provide a malleted accompaniment. A few key changes (from G Major to C Major to Ab Major) keep the listener interested; the last melodic statement is broad and stately with shaking at the end of the piece. The arrangement is 88 measures.
