Review:
This straight-forward arrangement of the popular Christmas carol is full of dynamic contrast from the delicate opening and closing phrases to joyous and full chordal passages. There are no special techniques, and bell changes are kept to a minimum. A unique closing chord creates a bit of freshness in this timeless carol. All three editions are compatible for massed ringing. This work is set in c minor and is 70 quick measures.
