The performance note on the back cover reads "this piece is also playable by level II ringers by following the instructions below." It then goes on to offer suggestions for altering the work to make it more accessible to level II ringers. As the title suggests, the mood of this work is calm and serene. Two themes are presented with complimentary counter lines. The B4-E5 ringers will get quite a work-out.
