Review:
Irene Dill's text begins: "Fan into a flame the gift that God gave you." It has been set for cantor, choir, assembly/congregation/ two trumpets, handbells and organ. The handbells (D5, F5, G5 and C6 only) are scored to play between the end of the verse and the beginning of the refrain. The held handbell chords may be used to create a brief period of meditation or reflection. They also aid in setting the pitch for the refrain.
