Review:
The flute is not optional in this very simple arrangement for handbell quartet and C flute. The flute first states the melody in its lowest register. The second verse is joined by the bells adding a repetitive rhythmic figure for accompaniment. The roles then reverse with the bells on melody and the flute on counter-melody. Both instruments play from the same score.
