Review:
In the slightly chromatic, fanfare opening one can almost hear the trumpets blaring. The hymn tune commences in measure 13 in a standard, chordal texture. The key moves up a major third by way of a fanfare interlude. Again the tune is presented in a straightforward manner. Another key change, this time up a fourth to a broad section in hymn style.
