Review:
This moving Irish folk song (aka Danny Boy) has been used with many texts. The arranger here chooses to associate it with "O Christ the Same." Set for handbells, optional chimes and C or Bb instrument. The chimes are assigned the melody with diamond-shaped notes to differentiate from the handbell accompaniment, which is mostly chordal throughout. Reviewer suggests reading the text of this hymn before the handbells ring or placing it in the worship bulletin. Instrument parts on pages ten through eleven.
