Review:      Pentecost is set for SATB choir, handbells and organ. Five bells (A4-G5) ring either randomly or in a chordal shake throughout the work until the final five measures. There they play a simple quarter-note pattern with whole notes above. Level one or even totally inexperienced bell ringers should be able to be involved in this special composition about the Spirit's coming. The Sarum plainsong, VENI CREATOR SPIRITUS is the basis of the text.
