Review:
At Christmas time we love to ring the old favorites, however, fresh, new music can enhance our Yuletide celebration. Merle Petersen's "Song of Bethlehem" is an original work incorporating a mellow, 3/4 melody with a flowing accompaniment and a cantabile tempo. Upper and inner voices carry melodic material that blends well with the accompaniment to give an overall mood of peace, quiet and wonder.
