Review:
Two Spanish folk songs are combined in this selection: La Golondrina by Sarradell and La Paloma by Yradier. An optional claves and maracas part is included with this score. In lilting 6/8 the melody dances by with some sixteenth-note movement and accidental changes. Syncopated rhythms a bound and are responsible for the festive flare of the music.
