Review:
A part of a larger suite, "Joy" is a commissioned handbell duet. The tempos is marked "With Great Joy! quarter note = 112." Much use is made of mallets on tabled bells and the antiphonal effect. The melody is bouncy and light. This is not a beginning duet piece.
